EZEBOND 3 Bentomix STD Oil Bonded Sand

EZEBOND RANGE IS OUR OWN MANUFACTURED PRODUCT

EZEBOND 3 Bentomix STD sand is our own sand recipe created by founders for founders and has a special mix of processing oils, Catalysts and bentone binder instead of the bentonite clay and water as used in traditional green sand. No steam is generated when the metal is poured. This means that there is a reduced need for venting of the mold and the sand doesn’t need to be as permeable. Therefore a finer mesh of sand is used which results in a finer finish on the cast part. This also means that the sand does not dry out by evaporation.

EZEBOND 3 Bentomix STD Plus has a higher green strength than Petrobond but has a green strength comparable to bentomix and is commonly used in the foundry industry for its surface finish and detail.
Ideal for more complex shapes and lettering also very good with finer detail.

EZEBOND 3 Bentomix STD is a standard bentomix oil bonded sand.

EZEBOND XTRA Oil Plus is a fine oil bonded sand with the highest green strength. If you are requiring a resin set mould try our Air or Co2 Set range of casting mediums.
