J’EN 6.5:1 Geared Starter, 12 – 24 volt

The ever popular JEN 4:1 geared starter now has a big brother; the JEN 6.5:1 geared starter is rated up to 24 volts. It comes with the large cone and large rubber insert as standard to give you maximum power transfer. The difference stops there. Otherwise it’s the same physical size as the 4:1 and only a little heavier at 1130g compared to 960g.

The JEN 6.5 :1 promises to carry on where the 4:1 leaves off; taking the larger engines in hand.

Please note, It has come to our attention under certain conditions the use of LiPo batteries can over power the starter and cause the switch contacts damage and cause them to weld on.

Because of this we cannot recommend the use of or guarantee the starter if used with LiPo batteries.

We recommend the use of gel cell or NiMh batteries.
